I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered, I have been looking through forums and on google for a few days now and cannot find an answer.

If it has already been answered please link me the forum.

I am working on a project and am going to painting the inside of my PC case.
My plan is to remove my components and dismantle my case. Then I will tape the side I don't want painted with painters tape before spray painting the desired side.

My questions are:

Is painters tape the best product to use to prevent spray paint getting on the wrong parts?
What is the best type of spray paint to use? (the MFR website specifies that the case is steel)
What is the best primer to use?
Should I get a gloss or flat matte paint? (or is that just an aesthetic choice?)

Thanks for any replies and advice.

I forgot to say that I have tempered glass side panels and I have RGB lighting inside.
I was thinking high gloss paint would help reflect the light and improve the looks of the RGB

I have picked out this for the paint
& this for the primer.

Still waiting for input before making the purchase and using them. But do they look like they would work well?
