Question What voltage is the brown wire of an ATX PSU

I have a HIPRO HP-P3017F3 300 watt PSU from an old dell Inspiron socket 775 machine from circa 2009.
I am using this PSU for a lab bench psu project.
I have found this online as the ATX color code.

There is one part that confuses me about this psu. This psu has 3 brown wires coming from it, one is much thinner than the other.
According the the diagram and my prior knowlege, there should only be 1 brown wire, and it should be 3.3v sense.
I have measured the thin brown wire and it is indeed 3.3v. I have measured the thicker brown wires as 12v.
Are the 2 brown 12v wires identical to the yellow 12v wires used for hdds? They might be rated for different amps or something since they are used in different places but they should both supply 12v at the same time correct?

If its an sense wire they should be connected with its correct voltage to "Sense" the voltage variation.
Like mine Server PSU from delta has Blue wire with White strip and a bit thinner which is sense wire, but still i've connected it with its 12V normal cable.

Also if you connect them and hear buzzing from PSU/clicking try it to connect to other "Wires to its corresponding voltage" or leave it alone.

Thats how I did it.

Also on my Cheapo ghetto PSU from MS group There are no sense wires tho.
 
Ok, I am following a tutorial online that said to connect the 3.3v and 3.3 sense to the same binding post. I will do this once my binding test posts come from eBay.
Did you use a resistor to load the psu for stability?

Can I connect the brown 12v wires and the yellow 12v wires to the same post since they carry the same voltage?
Also, I removed the PSU fan awhile ago. Can I draw a few watts from the PSU without any overheating? I still have the fan, but it makes bearing failure noises.
