What wattage solder iron would I need

Hello, i was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of or type of wattage do i look for in solder irons, ive never bought one so im not sure what to look for. just looking for one that is good for computer related items? Thanks

I wouldn't buy any of those that plugs into the wall directly. They don't last and don't perform well.

Rather, something that says soldering station, one that has a control box with a knob that you can dial-in the temperature. Am seeing a few reasonably priced on Amazon.

Depends on the job you have to do with it. For fine electronic work a blower type may be best followed by well regulated one.
