it says 384 estimated wattage, approx calculation(via psu calculator) under load it might be 400-450w + 19.5'' monitor + speaker plugged into an AVR

assuming my AVR is Secure 500w .. what will happen if i have more than wattage vs the wattage of the AVR? will it explode? burn?

pls suggest what VA or W should i buy for my AVR, no plans of getting a UPS as power interruptions rarely happens back here on my place

I believe the fuse will break (on the AVR) to protect the device/s connected to the AVR.

"pls suggest what VA or W should i buy for my AVR, no plans of getting a PSU as power interruptions rarely happens back here on my place" I guess you're talking about UPS (uninterruptible power supply). You don't have to buy that unless you don't want any disruptions on the PC.

I'm using the same AVR (Secure 500W) but only the PC and monitor are plugged into it. Pcpartpcker says 374W estimated wattage on my rig and it is doing fine. ^_^
