I believe the one with the remote antennas is preferable. You can relocate the antennas to get optimal signal.

Sorry, the first picture that comes up on Newegg doesn't show the adapter. You probably won't see any performance difference. You will probably be limited by your router. One is a dual stream, (two antennas) the other is a three stream (three antennas). Do you have a wireless AC router?
