im looking to upgrade my processor or get an SSD, my specs are;

CPU: intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 3.40GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 750 Ti

my HDD is 1TB with 651GB used and 260GB unused

If you want to improve gaming performance of your pc, you need better GPU.
But for better GPU you need more capable PSU of gaming grade quality and depending on GPU choice also better CPU.
So upgrade order should be:
1. PSU
2. GPU
3. CPU.

SSD would not improve gaming by much, only boot times and game loading times if you put game on SSD.
You can get it first or last - no big difference.

In summary - better first get enough money to upgrade everything at the same time. :)

im doing it for gaming but not for fps, do you know if upgrading to an i5 will benefit my gpu in any way like temp wise or will only getting new fans help that, im not really sure what a processor adds exactly like for example add more fan slots or since my power supply is 300watts and my gpu needs a 300watt supply that if i get an i5 that i cna then get say a 650watt power supply that will make the gpu run better, or is the mother board what determines how much of a powersupply ur comp can handle? i really dont know like anything about upgrading a computer i normally just buy a pc i think can handle what games i currently play and first time i upgraded was to my current gpu
