What would be better? A vg248qe monitor or a 780ti?

I am planning to get one or the other, however, I am having a hard time deciding. I am currently running 660 ti sli by the way. The plan is to sell my 660 tis and get one 780 ti or just get a 144 hrz monitor and game on. Or should I wait for the 800 series? Thanks.

That I am not so sure, one reason why I am having difficulties deciding.

Well, monitor your FPS while playing games, if you are only getting 60 FPS it would be better to upgrade the card first. If you are getting 100+ then the monitor would be worth it.

well, my FPS is pretty stable on V-sync. What do you think would be the better choice?

V-sync limits you frames produced to the monitors refresh rate. Try running games with out vsync and see what they are, or run a benchmarking too. Long story short if your graphics cards cant produce more than 60 FPS then the monitor wont make a difference and get a graphics card instead.
