What would be the best scanner?

dont know about in the usa but in the uk its as cheap to buy a new wifi printer/scanner/copier as it is to buy a stand alone scanner

when my scanner gave up thats what i did--wifi printing is great for phones/tablets etc

and the all in one can scan/copy/print without even turning on the pc

I want to scan Color photos and Colored Documents.... After i scan them i want to reserve those soft copies to print in the future... just some basic scanning... but those documents are important so those copies must be scan with very good resolutions.

if i go for Epson Perfection v37. then another scanner comes with it is the canon lide 210... So which will be better.. i surfed the internet and best i could find is the link below:

http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-budget-flatbed-scanner-is-the-canon-canoscan-lide-210/

again the Epson Perfection v37 is good looking... bt i don't know abot performance... So which would be better.... ? I am confused....

Nothing wrong with the MX436. I use it wirelessly. I like the programs (I think it's navigator) which lets you scan documents and you can save them in PDF format.

I usually scan my invoices for things I buy with it. So I've got a spare copy on the hdd

Does a pretty good job at it too

the canon is a really good cheap scanner but i find canon software pretty bad compared to epson software

especially OCR side of it and only scanning one document a time and having to re open the software again

my choice would still be the epson due to the better software it comes with

though obviously you can also use third party software to scan stuff as well

Does EPSON Perfection Series V37 requires external power to perform?

yes.
