What would I be able to run?

Just ditch the psu and get this : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Bshk

If you consider an intel build, i suggest this : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Bskb

It has a better cpu, a 7850 2GB, cheaper ram, a good decent psu all under your budget without rebates.
The custom parts are from ncix, pcpartpicker is bugged, it doesn't show ncix parts.
The psu is this : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=62331&vpn=VP450&manufacture=Antec
The ram is this : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=74758&promoid=1292
The cpu is this : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=75429&promoid=1292

All those three parts have free shipping all together.

The i3 has faster cores, it's better for gaming, and has a lower power consumption, you can't compare the speeds of the amd with the intel, different architectures, the i3 overall is better.
See here for toms hardware cpu recommendation : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-3.html
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/677?vs=102

The x4 965 be is a decent quad core, but just an option, if you get it ncix, the total cost is bellow the x4 965 with motherboard, ram and psu.

I read that there is really no difference in the 2 gb and 1 gb version. its just a bit more money for an extra gig of vram which most games wont even use. OK the main game i play is mount and blade warband can someone give me a setup for like 450 dollars that can run a couple games on high... and maybe newer games like BF3 on low?

Minimum, for it i suggest this : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BxW7

or this for 450 : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BxZu

The custom parts are ncix, pcpartpicker is still bugged, it's a pain in the ass.
