What would I need to run GTA 5 / Beamng.Drive at above 30FPS average?

I think my CPU, and RAM are fine in this area, I also know the graphics card needs upgrading, but I'm not too sure what graphics card I should get and what is compatible with my current PSU.

My system specs are:

  • CPU: Intel Xeon X5460 3.16GHz (Quad Core)
    RAM: 8GB DDR2 (<400MHz)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT 512MB
    PSU: Win Power ATX-750 (750W)

Any suggestions or ideas on what graphics card to get, or if I would need to upgrade other parts of my system would be greatly appreciated!

Out of honesty, you're going t have to change the entire system...not kidding. You could drop in a GTX750Ti but I'm not sure if your motherboard's slot is above PCI-E 1.1 which leads me to ask what your motherboard is? You're going to have to change the generically named PSU for a reliable unit and then there's the question of what monitor you're using...? At what resolution do you want to game on it?

First of all, thank you for your reply!

My mobo is an ASRock P43DE, my monitor is currently just a TV which has a resolution of 1440x900, I would try to run at this resolution or lower if needed.

I have actually tried beamg.drive on my computer, and at the lowest graphics, it ran pretty smoothly (not sure what fps).

The seller of the pc said that he tried the computer with a 1050Ti, I don't know if that helps with knowing what the mobo slot is.

Aslong as I can run it at a playable frame rate, I honestly don't mind that I won't get 60fps with my current setup.

Looking at the system requirements on game debate, on minimum, the only thing that would need to be upgraded is the GPU, and for recommended, the CPU & GPU need an upgrade.

Well, I installed and tried to play GTA on my computer, in the benchmark test I got an average of 33 FPS, but while normally driving and blowing stuff up, I got an average of 15-20 FPS.
Running in 800x600 resolution, at low.
