Oh and that CPU is about 7 years old isn't it? I'm currently running intel core 2 duos on my macbook pro and my inspiron 1520 and my inspiron is 7 yrs old. Mac is about 4 or 5 yrs old?

Yes its all used besides the screen mouse/keyboard i got about 3 months ago for about 310$, Yea so many peeople still think Vista is bad but honestly all the kinks have been worked out and its a great os now, I plan on using Vista for a while still.

I got the cards/cpu and Mobo about 3 years ago now new, Nothing has ever been oc'd.

750 ish sounds about rite to me, Kinda doing an auction type thing on Craigslist and people are low balling so bad, best offer was 250$ so far.

Wow 250? Yeah seems some people are getting greedy. They need to consider all that hardware. Don't go lower than 700. 600 if you're feeling charitable/desperate.

But what about the 2 GPU's that still sell used for around 60 at the least? He's never overclocked anything in this build.

His case is worth around 119.99 new so depending on the condition it could go for 60 or so.

And the gaming mouse, Keyboard and monitor are relatively new.

The mobo is discontinued but it still owns up to mobo's today that I've seen sell for around $120

The processor may not be the best selling point nor the OS but he's got a good amount of RAM in it and a fine capacity hard drive.

Maybe 550 as a starting bid but definitely not as a final sales price. Never sell your item short you know? I wish you luck OP.

Used Case mouse keyboard and monitor ........ no ones paying even 50% for that stuff used.

That computer is not getting more than $400 .......... I sold my old C2D 8400 , 8 gigs ram Sli'd 280 gtx's for $400 3 years ago.... that computer is ancient and for $500 I as well as most people could build a nicer computer. Sorry to sound harsh but its the honest to Gods truth.

... Can't argue with that logic! 🙁 Like I said, good luck OP!

I have the reciept still for the Screen, Mouse/Keyboard, they still have warranty's from the factory. I should be able to get 250$ for just these 3 imo.

Edit, forgot I got the PSU also when I got the screen and what not. that was 120$

The case on the other hand, Funny story, I had to put my comp in a suitcase to take on the plane with me, so I tucked in a bunch of cloths and packing bubbles and what not and hoped for the best, so as I am waiting for the plane to begin boarding from Chicago to here, I see the Train thing pulling up with all of the luggage and Of course, My suitcase with my computer in it is on the very top, about 8-10 ft high, Teetering on god knows what, I dont even know how it was up there still at the point that I saw it there, But, as soon as he pulled up to the Plane and hit the brakes, there it went, crashing to the ground.

Got it home and didnt open it for 2 days because I was scared what I would find, When I finally opened it, It looked like something picked it up by the 2 opposite corners and squeezed, In other words, Its a bit twisted, and the corner that it landed on it pretty dented, The side pannels and everything go on just fine though, But I would buy this case again 100 times over after watching what happened to it and everything being pretty much fine. wow that was long . .

8400's were 120$ cheaper each than my 2 9800 GTX +'s

Reread it ...... the CPU was an 8400 the same as yours and the video cards were 2 280 gtx's which were much more expensive than your cards.

wow apologies man. Must have mis read that.
