I'm looking to buy a new monitor. My current one is a HP LE1901w that I got for free when someone was cleaning out their old storage room. They didn't want it because of the annoying distortion line at the top. Didn't bother me that much. And free monitor was free.

But, lately, the picture is getting worse. The brightness is going all wonky on me. Makes seeing things just a little difficult.

I'm looking to buy the best HDMI flat screen monitor available at this time. Yes a HDMI. It can't be any bigger than 25 inches though. So... A 19", 21", 22", 23", 24", or 25" monitor. Any larger will fall off the desk. I'd have to move everything close together. And just have enough for 25 inches. The video card I will hook it up to is an EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti SuperClocked Ed 1GB Bundle. ( https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-560-ti.c273 ) I got it off of ebay back in 04/27/11. The 560 Ti has a 1x mini-HDMI 1.3a output port. I'll use this ( https://www.startech.com/en-us/cables/hdacfm ) to hook it to the HDMI monitor cable.

I plan to get a new computer, later. When I have the money for all the parts. Probably sometime next year, or so thereabouts. I'll likely get a RTX GeForce 3090 Ti, or higher, for it. Whatever monitor I get now will have to be a good one for that later.

So...

What's the best HDMI flat screen monitor available now?

I came across this searching. ( https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/ali...hfl/apd/210-awdy/monitors-monitor-accessories ). Is this a good one to buy?

Also this one ( https://deals.dell.com/en-us/productdetail/fkq9 ). They look the same to me though. Can anyone tell me the difference here?

Let me know!^_^

I think it might be best to peruse used/refurbished equipment for that size.

I would suggest utilizing Newegg and check the filters needed to gather results. For instance:

19",1 x HDMI LCD / LED Monitors | Newegg.com

Edit- apparently only one result in that size with HDMI. Might need to check for DVI and use an adapter, etc.

To be fair, probably would check pawn shops around your area or if there are any PC "junkers" around. 19" is long past a popular size these days.

It looks like they are the same panel, just different listings. That appears to be a pretty good deal too. A 3090ti would be a waste on this though, being it's only 1080p.
