What's a good GPU for 768p resolution with a FX 6300

Hello,
Im building a gaming rig to play games like Watch dogs, battlefield 4 etccc...
I'm almost Done picking up parts. ...but need a good GPU for 1366x728 resolution ill be paring it with a FX 6300....I'm currently looking at GTX660 and GTX 650ti and can't decide which one to buy..please help me out guys

I recommend a r9 280, or GTX 760 as a good match for a fx-6300. Either will handle your resolution with ease(even 1080p), and will be good for a few years yet. So future proof for your current resolution, and if you decide to get a better monitor it will handle that too.

What sincreator said. At a minimum I'd go with a 750 Ti, it offers better performance than the GPUs you listed and is currently also available at a lower price point.

I can't get a gtx 760 or a r9 280x due to some budget restrictions 🙁

And 750ti is really better than a gtx 660?

I'm getting a corsair vs 550 PSU

What is your GPU budget? Also, where are you getting your parts from and what else is on your list? What do you already have purchased? We are pretty good at whittling away the fat for budget builds and getting you into a better card.

Remember that the NVIDIA GTX960 cards are coming this month, 22nd. NDA is lifted the 15th. I suspect it will come out around $199-$229 ish. If this is out of your range, it might push some of the other cards down in price. Wait and see.

You probably wont see much real world difference so it's more of a price point comparison. Get whichever card you can afford.

I live in india km getting my parts through local e commerce site flipkart.com and my budget is 12500rs wich is aproximtely 200USD and buying them all on 30th jan

The r9 280 should be able to be found for the $200/12500rs that you have to spend. The 280x will be over budget though. Unless you meant that was your budget for video card and power supply?

Get a GTX 960 .It can easily play all the games at ultra high settings at 768p with fps>40. Moreover,it is compatible with Directx 12. Also it will future proof your system for atleast 3 more years even if you decide to buy a 1080p monitor.
Moreover, it has low power requirements and a superior cooling system and is based on latest maxwell architecture.Ur PSU is also compatible with this.It will be worth the extra money.
