What's a good hard drive for gaming that has a decent amount of space (1TB+)?

I already have a WDC WD10EZEX in my computer. The problem is that I need a second one so that I can store my movies, music, and even some games on it.

The hard drive I have isn't bad, it's not slow as far as HDDs go (at least not in my experience). The longest load times only occur when I load a bunch of addons for WoW or a bunch of mods (50+) for Skyrim. Even then the load times aren't terrible. They are 30 secs at the most (which I can handle).

I would like to get a SSD, but I don't want to spend the money for one right now. Also, I noticed a lot of those have very little space (500 GB) which just isn't big enough for me.

I saw some 4tb hard drives by WD that were for desktops. The problem is that the RPM is low on them. Mine has 7200 RPM and the one I'm looking at only has 5400 RPM. I do not know if that makes a big difference with the speed.

What do you suggest I do? Buy a decent 4tb hard drive? Buy a large external drive and get a small ssd for games? Or even just buy a few cheap 1tb hard drives?

Best combo you can get for your money right now:

Samsung 850 Evo 250GB + Western Digital Black 2TB HD.

Use the SSD to run your Operating System and one or two of your favourite games, and the 2TB drive for all extra data and media. Doing this will also mean you can use your current 1TB drive for extra overflow storage as well. Once you install your OS on a SSD you'll never be able to go back, it's that much of an improvement.

HGST/Hitachi (HUA723020ALA641) Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 64MB 7200RPM 3.5" (Enterprise Grade) SATA III 6.0Gb/s Hard Drivehttp:// $61.90 right now, free shipping.

4.4 out of 5 stars at Amazon.com.

Enterprise grade drive, 2TB, $61.90.... That's almost $10 less than I paid for mine back in June.

Everything I have seen and experienced with hard drives over the years tells me that HGST has the lowest failure rates at 5 years or less use.
