whats better VIA or NVIDIA??

hi im about to update my system, but i havent decided yet wicho mobo to get, i do know its the MSI k8t neo, but dont know whats better for me, nvidia or via chipset, im just lookin for a good mobo w/o video, w/ gigabit, plenty of pci slots, agp 8x... ddr400 ata 133 or sata...
