Hey thanks for reading.
It's my first pc build. About 2 months old. I have a 126 GB Seagate SSD, and a 1TB WD. My SSD has 90 GB unused, and my HDD is half full. The capacities have hardly changed. My boot time used to be like 10 seconds. And all of a sudden a week ago when I started, after the "starting windows" animation there was just a black screen for like 30 seconds before the user login would come up.
When this started happening, I followed the steps in this article http://
It went back to normal for like two boots, then went right back to that 30 second black screen. But now the black screen time has double, it's for more than a minute before the login screen comes up.
A couple of days ago, I changed the number of processors in my MSCONFIG to 4, and it fix the issue. But when I tried to login this morning it's longer than ever. What is happening?
I used Bitdefender 2015 Total Security. I do a full scan every couple days, and a quick system scan automatically at start up. I have disabled or delayed all startup programs. I do regular malware scans, and do cleanups every day. If you know any reason why it would be doing this, please help. Thank you!

Had the same black screen delay like you, wich apears out of nowhere and gets longer and longer after a while. And im using BitDefender 2015 also.Got 1 possible reason for this and 3 ideas:

1) It could be from the video drivers like ive seen happening to some.Possible fix: uninstall the video drivers - reinstall them in Safe Mode
2) Bitdefender does alot of problems to alot of peoples for alot of diffrent reasons.Same as MalwareBytes.Test how it works without it.Also it could be from PCTuneUp if u have it installed.
3) This one worked for me, for now at least, didnt had the change to test it for a longer time.I deleted the Administrator account, leaving just Guest one and remade it from safe mode.Tehnically works like the 1st option just not in safe mode.Thinking it has to do with drivers / registry also but i cannot confirm it yet.My boot time droped from 7 mins to under 2 like it shouldve been, and the overall performance increased.
