Current gen gaming consoles also were made years ago,
And current gen gaming consoles have very very small operating systems. allowing the game to take advantage of more ram even though it is less

Taiwan is part of China de jure.
No country recognizes Taiwan as independent or has treaties with them, so while Taiwan has de facto independence it does not have de jure.
