What's the best 450W power supply?

Solution

They may just been using different stock photos.

Shouldn't make a difference though.
If 450 is enough for your PC and your buying one I would recommend buying a bit more power for future upgrades even if you do not plan any. It sux to buy a new power supply then a couple years later make some upgrades and have to buy a new one again when for a few more bucks you could of had it covered the first time. 550 Watts should cover about any upgrade you could make and only 13 bucks higher than the 450 Watt.

That's what I originally thought, however, for now my build only uses about 200W. The 550W running at a very low output is bad for efficiency and longevity as far as I'm aware (correct me if I am wrong). And, I could add an RX580 and a 1700x to my system (which is more than I think I will ever spend) and still have about a 50W headroom. Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think 550W is just too much for right now especially since AM4 compatibility is through 2020.

I looked this up on amazon and the plugs for the extra cables are all side by side rather than a 2 by 2 configuration. Is their a difference?
