I'm looking for a processor upgrade for H-Alpinia-RS780L-uATX motherboard and it only supports up to 95 watt cpus. doesn't support overclocking so I'm looking for a high base clock and possibly turbo boost. According to AMD's website, it claims that the phenom ii x6 1075t is 95w, but when I search for the cpu on other sites, they say 125w. I intend for it to be able to keep up with today's games, such as MGS5 and Batman Arkham knight, though I know that could be a bit of a stretch. I was thinking of getting the phenom ii x4 850 @3.3 ghz, but if it's at all possible to get a decent 6 core CPU of 3.0ghz or higher, that would be great. I'm wanting to have 16gb ddr3 RAM and a decent mid level GPU such as a 270x or 370x
In short i'm looking for the highest clock speed i can get with the most cores i can get for 95 watts

i've gotta stick to a minimum of 3.0 ghz. that's where i get stuck at because i can get up to 3.4 ghz on a quad core, which is closer to what a lot of games recommend, but i can't decide whether or not to sacrifice clock speed for 2 extra cores. I know games are starting to support 6-8 cores, but by today's standards anything less than 3.0 ghz (really more like 3.5ghz) is too low for a decent system. not to mention it can't bottleneck the 270x/370x GPU.
(EDIT) just noticed the 3.1ghz turbo boost, but still 2.6ghz is a bit too low of a base frequency. So i guess what i really need is a suggestion on whether or not i should get a 3.3ghz quad core or 2.6ghz 6 core (or if there's a faster 6 core for 95w)

yeah but are you sure that games such as the ones previously mentioned wouldn't benefit more from 2 extra cores?
also, what's the difference between one 3.0ghz processor over another? I mean you've got the 945 95w, the 940, and the 960t. They're all clocked at 3.0ghz, all quad cores, though the 940 and 960t are both unlocked, but I can't overclock with the motherboard anyways. Then you've got the phenom ii x4 850 and the x4 B99, both at 3.3ghz, but the 960t can turbo boost to 3.4ghz. And let's not forget the Athlon ii x4's such as the 640, 645, 651, 650, and 655, All between 3.0ghz and 3.3 ghz. How do i choose one over the other? which one's the best one?
Sometimes there can be too many options to choose from
Between the Phenom ii x4 850, the 940, the 945, the 960t, the Athlon 640, 645, 650, 651, and 655, which of these should I choose?
(EDIT) Apparently there's a Phenom ii X6 1055t OEM version that's 95w @2.8 ghz and turbos to 3.3ghz but apparently it's hard to find.
