What's the best amd phenom II?

My MOBO is msi 790XT-G45. It's old and has the am2 CPU socket. Apparently the best CPU I can get is a phenom II? So which is the best one? An I just looking for the highest freq?

Well I already bought the 1090t so my next upgrade will be a motherboard. Which would be a good motherboard? (Needs to have crossfire)

This one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128519 is a great choice. Good VRMs and support for the latest processors. You need to get DDR3 ram too. It would be a very good upgrade for you.

Wow that seems like a good deal. Perhaps I wouldn't need crossfire if I had just one good video card? Arghhhh it never ends.

I just hope the step up from phenom I to phenom II will be noticeable. As is, with the phenom I, ARMA3 runs good and looks good, until I enter a city. My frame rates go down to like 20, even worse. Do you think that's caused by my CPU?
