Hi im looking for a new CPU, it needs to be the correct series as im running a MSI A78M-E35 Military Class Motherboard
and it has to be atleast 6 or more cores, i currently have a AMD A10-6800K 4.10 Ghz quad core and its not good enough, thanks

Would this combo work: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Processor with Wraith Spire with MSI A320M Gaming Pro Motherboard
Also do i have to get ddr4 memory or can i use my ddr3 on the motherboard until i can afford the upgrade

You have to have ddr4 that's why I avoided the 1600. Also you want a b350 board not an a320 (b350 will allow ocing, a320 won't) you can get 3.6 maybe 3.7 on the stock cooler with a 1600 or a 1500x maybe 3.5 out of the 1400
