What's the best Internet through broadband?

I live in an old large house where there is no fibre optic so I get wifi through broadband (telephone lines) and I'm into gaming but our wifi is shocking. It is okay when no one is using it but I have two siblings who are constantly on it. How can I improve my internet and what is the best possible internet I can get in my situation?

For gaming connect to the router with cable, not WiFi. Negotiate with your siblings how to use your (slow) DSL internet most efficiently.
