Question What's the best laptop for my needs, but also fairly priced?

In my spare time, I do a lot of DJ mixing, along with guitar and e-drum playing. I used a laptop to power these instruments through digital amplifiers, VST plugins and such. The laptop was reasonably powered, so I had no issues with latency (for example, hitting the snare, and a delayed sound through my headphones). Well that laptop has now died on me, and I am in search of a new one. Due to COVID-19, my financial situation is rather limited, but I want to continue my hobby.

What would be the best, cost-effective laptop to purchase that is capable of using plugins with minimal latency?

Maximum budget is probably around 500-600 GBP. I can be flexible with it a little bit.

Without knowing specifically what the software is, and without knowing specifically what the old laptop was...we can still make certain assumptions based only in times passage.
It would seem to follow that any laptop with a CPU more powerful than the one you had AND which offers the I/O that you need to hook your devices to....
