Whats the best m.2 ssd for MSI GT72VR 7RE Dominator Pro ??

I had exceptionally good luck with the Samsung 850 EVO, M.2 SATA 3, 6Gb/s ssd. I have used them in my own personal pc's and in systems I built for clients. The 850 EVO performs well and has a proven track record.

I maintain an ssd database listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section which includes all three ssd's you mentioned. Here is the link:

Scroll down to the M.2 SATA 3 section and follow the links to the technical reviews of the models you mentioned as well as any other models you are interested in. The technical reviews are divided into two categories - English language reviews and reviews in many other languages. This is strictly a hobby so there is no advertising or other distractions.

Oh ok great , thank you. I have another question. When I get the new drive would I be able to just copy the old drive to the new drive and be ready to go ? It has windows 10 on it and all that bit of I make a complete copy of the old one to the new one would that work ? Thanks

You need to clone your current drive to the new drive, you can migrate your OS using Samsung migration tool which can be downloaded from their site. http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html
If your model similar to the one in this video, you don't need an enclosure, you can install the new SSD in one of the empty slots and migrate your current drive to the new one but one thing for sure, you can not just copy your OS to a new drive, you can migrate, clone or recover the image of the old disk after backing up to another HDD and creating a recovery disc.
