What's the best option? Case, GPU...

I am building a gaming computer and I already have two components - a XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO .

First, I thought in doing this build, as it would be a very good first build for gaming at my budget - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JBchFT -; I am very happy with it, only dislike one thing: the red GPU doesn't go very well in the blue themed PC. So if you know a GPU at the same performance and price level but that goes better with the blue theme, please tell me

But then i thought, "What if I want to put better parts in the future? I should go with Intel so a can put a better CPU later and buy a really good motherboard right now". So i got this build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bQnbTW - I like it, I would buy a cheap overclockable CPU now and a better one later. Only dislike one thing: the build is red themed and I can't find a good red themed case and this price range. I thought that I would buy red LED fans and replace the stock ones, but I don't know how, can someone tell me?

Am I making the right choice by going with the Intel build?

I changed the GPU to a 770 and the CPU to an intel 4590, which is just black so it should fit in with blue, as well as a change to the motherboard since the other one didn't fit intel. You are definitely making =the right choice with an intel build. AMD basically sucks unless you're on a budget. The Pentium is not very good for gaming and if you were to get it you would not need a cooler. If you have the money, in the first build I'd go with the Asus z97-A, which is like 40 dollars more, but you definitely don't need a 150 dollar motherboard on a budget.

I'm not blackbird, but in my mind you should have AMD unless it's a budget build. I assume your budget is around 900 dollars, so your build is not very budget.

You're not on a small budget so I chose Intel, not AMD. If you were to be on a small budget, go with AMD.

I think you should get intel when you can instead of a cheap CPU now. It'll save you money in the long run.
