I have an old dell and i want to find an os that will run on it and that ill like. I have tried all the puppys, all the ubuntus (Wouldnt run), and a whole lot of others. The CPU has around 1 Gb ram. Im looking for something that looks mac-e.

Thanks,
tahdas

DRDOS is pretty good. I kid.

Are you sure your mother board can support a GB of ram? I'd check that before I went any farther if I were you. I've run ubuntu LXDE on several old machines with 256MB ram no problems as long as I stay away from video rendering. The only computer I've failed to install on, well I admit I didn't try because it only had a 2 GB hard drive, I was still able to use as a thin client on a network boot.
