Hello all, been a while since I have been on here. Also I have been out of the loop of technology since about may last year.

On to my question, I have a build going on PC partspicker to replace my current gaming laptop (asus rog G751JY). And so I have started putting together a little bit of a list.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/t9226s

Im trying to go with a bang to buck ratio, and right now I am really out of touch. I mean even when I was last looking in early 2017 I was really just looking at GTX 700 models due to the fact that it would cheaper to get another 770 to sli than it would to buy a new gtx 980. And with the new GTX 1100/2000 series coming out I am really out of the loop for psu's, are they more power hungry/less?

(I just picked a random psu to fill the role as of now, however I do have a old Ultra (now dyfunked brand) 850 watt bronze psu, as well as a EVGA 600 Watt psu).

Also if any of you guys could modify the case that could be used to something smaller, that would be awesome. Im currently in the military so something portable would be sweet, something that could fit in a assault pack would be greatly appreciated.

(The list I filled out was just a rough draft of what I am looking at, is it what I want, yes. But is it what I probably need for deployments....with its size no.....so any help is extraordinarily helpful!)

Thank you to all in advanced.
