What's the best size for 1080p monitor?

Hi i'm looking to buy a monitor but not sure what to go with. i want to go big, with at least 1080p resolution, a good brand with a great history, and a low budget. so, what's the best screen size for 1080p? also if anyone has a good monitor for cheap please send me a link.

Screen size is going to depend on a couple of things:

1) How good is your eyesight (with corrective lenses if needed).
2) What is the normal distance between your eyes and the monitor screen?

You're not going to find a large, cheap monitor with a good track record. Best bet is to keep it safe and go with a quality 23.6" - 24" LCD. That seems to be the sweet spot for 1920x1080 displays.
