Recently my PC stopped working so I had to take it all apart. While waiting to figure out what's wrong (I need to get my hands on another compatible mobo or cpu) my video card, power supply, ram and hard drives are sitting around in my desk. This kind of worries me as I don't want the components to get damaged, my mom uses the desk quite often.
I've thought of storing the video card and PSU in their original boxes as I still have them.
Would this be better? What's the best way to store the components?
It might be a couple of months till I can get the mobo/cpu I need to troubleshoot and consequently put my pc together again.
