My computer specs: MB: Asus rampage 3 extreme, CPU: Intel Core i7 950 3.07GHz, RAM: 2x4Gt Kingston Hyperx ddr3 dual-channel, GPU: Asus R9 280x 3gb, OS: windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

Getting lag with high-quality streams even though got a pretty good internet connection (50Mbps/10Mbps), also, I'm doing a lot of gameplay recording in full hd, and most of the time I have some video going on on the other screen. I'm getting a 3rd monitor for my setup and I was wondering if this setup could handle it even though it lags sometimes while recording gameplay and if i have some video/stream on top of that, game fps drops way too low to be playable. What's the bottleneck of my computer for watching a video, playing and recording the gameplay at high resolution at the same time, possibly a 3rd screen incoming also?

Thank you in advance, any help would be appreciated alot!

your HDD may be causing lag when you're recording gameplay
ram be an issue too

CPU can also be an issue as it has to encode everything

try using AMDs Game DVR, even though it's in Beta, it might be worth trying out as it uses built in GPU encoder

Honestly the only thing that looks to be holding you back in that system would be the CPU, but I also have a first-generation CPU, (i5 650) and I don't get any performance stutters in streaming and all. I also game 1080p on Ultra/High, with no problem. Maybe it's airflow and overheating? Check the temperature of the CPU, it might be throttling.

Thanks for the answers, I forgot to mention that I'm using 80gb ssd for my system and a 1Tb hdd for all my other stuff. Is it worth buying for example a new motherboard like asus z97-a or z97-pro (don't know the differences between those) and with that a new cpu like intel i7-4770k or i7-4790k?
Don't know if i should update my ssd also or something.. just wondering if that gpu can handle it and I can't fit any more Ram with my current setup because the noctua cooler takes so much room.
