Whats the difference between Memory QVL and Memory QVL(Raven Ridge)

Hello there guys the last week I bought the next componentes:
1 motherboard AsRock B350-HDV

* Ryzen 2200g

* EVGA 450W BT supply

* 2x 4gb ram Patriot 2400Mhz

* 1tb Toshiba 7200 rpm
As you can see this didnt work because i needed the update before, so i tried now with an AMD APU-9700, that cpu should work fine in the MB but my surpirse it didnt work, I tried everything (even CMOS Clear). Everything was on the fans, cpu fan, but i couldnt get post.
Well my first thought was that the MB was damaged but I visit the AsRock webpage to check the RAM Compatibility.
But here I found two different categories:

Well here comes the interesting part the Memory QVL category has the next compatibility RAM:

As you can see my Patriot RAM is not among the compatible RAMS.
But in the Memory QVL (Raven Ridge):

Here my RAM is among the compatibility list.
I look for what Raven Ridge means and Ive found that referes to the Ryzen AMD CPU, so my question here.
Thats the reason why i couldnt post even with that cpu?

QVL is only a MINIMAL sampling of tested memory products. It does not mean any specific memory module WILL or WILL NOT work with any given CPU or configuration.

Just because your memory is not on the QVL list means zero.

Both those CPUs are supported on that motherboard, but I'd make sure you have the latest BIOS version installed anyhow AND I'd check very closely to see that you didn't bend any pins on the CPU, since that is the most common reason why one CPU that is supported won't work when another supported CPU does.
