so from the crucial, it isn't good its just a large storage device, it will slow download/transfer speeds correct or? is it comparable to non nvme/last gen ssd cards, is it noticeable for something like opening large files such as games or is the rate still more then enough.

build is for games mainly, thinking on getting 2x Samsung over 2x crucial as it is really slow after a closer look

Well, the main diff between the two is price. One is cheap-end of M.2 PCI-E Gen4 SSDs, while another is on the premium end.

Heck, Crucial P3 is so bad that even SATA SSD is faster than it is.

It slows everything down. HDD speeds aren't comparable even to SATA SSD speeds, let alone M.2 PCI-E Gen3, Gen4 or Gen5 drives.

Harsh, compare the random read and random write any SSD even a slow one is miles faster than a HDD.
