how the heck do you reach 2050mhz? the highest i've seen was around 1500mhz??

how do you reach that high exactly? what GTX 980 brand do you need? and does the X360 watercooling can get you at 2050mhz or other type of watercooling is needed?

You will need to test your own hardware. Every chip is different and it can greatly depend on the quality of your cooling setup.

Look at reviews of whichever gtx980 you're interested in. Most of them have a section where an overclock has been made.
