Whats the more important part of the cpu for rendering

So im in the market for a good cpu for rendering, of course it cant be to expensive but it wont be cheap. And it got me thinking, for rendering videos what is the most important part, the cache, ghz etc (not including cores)

I don't know specifically what aspects are most important, but I do know that for rendering, you'll want to get an intel i7.
