So this is my pc http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227437 the IBuyPower NE615FX. It has never given me problems, until recently, it's acting like it's being pushed beyond it's limits. It is ALWAYS using 100% CPU, unless it sits at the desktop with everything closed for a couple minutes. Even the internet is being terrible, and my internet is amazing. I have run multiple virus scans recently, and it says there are no problems. Any help? Is it just time to say goodbye?

*Edit*
So I was looking at the wrong box, it was the disk that's always at 100%, and the memory is always above 90%.

There's two things that I would do first before simply chucking your PC and starting over.

1. This sounds like it's a hard drive / operating system issue more than it sounds like a RAM issue. What I would do in this case would be to get a new hard drive (preferably an SSD) and then install your operating system onto the new drive and load all the old drivers as before. A lot of times an operating system refresh will clear out all the issues.

2. The other thing I'd suggest would be to clear the CMOS and run your motherboard on default settings. If that doesn't do anything then the culprit points to the power supply, being an iBUYPOWER rig I'm most certain that they include cheap PSUs on their builds and that could be the source of your...

You really need to see what programs are eating up all your memory. It doesn't look like there would be enough in that list and yes i know it scrolls down to really be eating up 8gb of memory. Close down Chrome and see what it looks like afterwards. Not sure what you are viewing/running that is using java.
