Solution
The strongest graphics cards that psu would support might be a GTX750ti superclock or a R7-260X
Both are similar performers and both are in the $140 price range.

Probably not.
If you want to change your psu, the time to do it is before you upgrade your graphics card.

I have no idea about the quality of your current psu and can't say if it should be replaced.
The included psu's on prebuilt pc's are typically cheap units.
Here is a quality list , see if you can find your psu on it:

If your psu has the required 6 pin pcie power connector, then it is OK.
But, for less money, similar performance and less power needed, I might suggest this EVGA GTX750ti superclock:

You can do far better mate - don't buy anything just yet!!

R9 270xSapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card with Boost https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00FL8H49Q/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_2UUPub1SFX0WB

If your upgrading to a 1080p then a 750ti /260x will not impress mate.
The 270x will do a decent job

If you're happy preordering this will be back in soon - at £135 (£5 more than a 270x) its a no brainer.

OP, what is your exact budget? Also, what W power supply do you have? I'd personally go with a NVVIDIA GTX 750Ti or R7 260X.
