[SOLVED] Whats the stable tempreture for Amd ryzen 7 2700

I just overclocked my amd ryzen 7 2700 to 3.8ghz. I aslo put the voltage up to 1.390. I ran a stress test and got upto 90 degrees and a average of 83 degrees. Is that stable? Should i be worried?

That is a bit high. Cool it down - the hotter it gets, the more power it uses. 90 degrees is very close to throttling.

1.39v for 3.8ghz is A LOOOOOTTT of voltage. That's way too much. for 3.8ghz, you should need maybe 1.25v at best.

Depending on what motherboard you have as long as it has a decent VRM you should be able to OC the 2700 to 4 GHz at 1.3v (or slightly less).

What cooler are you using? What are your idle temps? Are you sure the cooler is seated correctly?

1.39 volts for 3.8 overclock is pretty darned high. As said previously, a 1.25 or maybe a 1.3 at most should be able to handle that OC.
