Has Support , But All is Not as It should be : First Up - why is it that Converge is always Involved with Dell Computers ?
How Hell do they become Owners ? ( PLUS ) Where Hell did Our Physical Clear CMOS GO ?

What is Happening in this Crazy World - where We the People Aren't Allowed to Fix Out Own Computers . . ?

How do I add basic Picture - can't this Forum even Up Load a small Jpeg , well Anyhow - New system is Locked Up

Seems Converge One : has some sort of Admin Rights to My Hardware that I Paid for 8 days Ago . . ? In Full & DELL along with Others Involved have Know Me for over 20yrs . .
( I Realize DELL is in Process of Laying Off 1000 Plus Tech Workers )
or Manufacturing - like any Places in Manufacturing getting Hammered in Last few Years , due to Economy , Covid , & Cell Phones .. now Tariff's . .

So Now New Game is We are Gong to Control every Aspect of Your Computer . . Lock it all or be able to Access it all & Your Can't reset anything without Us ..

Now to Add to This Side of Story - Dell was to Not Have Pulled CMOS Physical Pin Clearing on Percision Workstations : Accord to Their Manuals & Tech's - Until 04/2024 !

My Mother Board is Build date 12/2023 More then Yr Earlier - Yet - Can't Find those Darn Clearing Pin Jumper anywhere to be Seen ? ( Very Odd ) so Converge One is Allowing - Taiwanese from Taiwan to Import Below Tarriff Lines - Under the guise of Over Ordered or a Project that - Never Matured ?

What are you talking about?

Are you trying to reset the BIOS on a Dell workstation (or any PC for that matter)?

To manually reset the BIOS. Do this:

1. Remove all powered connections (power cable, video cable, and powered speakers, etc).
2. Remove the motherboard battery.
3. Press the power button to discharge residual power in the system's components.
4. Wait at least a minute (not really necessary, but won't hurt either).
5. Re-install the battery and reconnect the previously removed connections.
6. Power on (system should be in default settings state now).

I'm sorry what I meant was is there ( WAY ) to Do Computer Support or FIX My Own Computer , I Not Looking to
Go War Mode on Our Entire Screwed Up World - Just want to be to Control My Own Hardware !

Same as If FORD or HONDA told You all - Your NOT Able to Fix anything On Your Vehicles any Longer..
Not even Oil & Can't Start it , Nor are You able to Drive to Doctor's Office - in this case Being able to Make an Appointment or Pay Ones Bills . .

Of course you can fix your PC. This entire forum exists for that. Even a Dell can be worked on by end users.

If you have a specific issue, then ask questions in that regard so others can help.

Modern cars...well, that is another story and not really salient to PC stuff.

Thank You for Your Response , I TRIED That - dell stated Instructions said to wait 5-10 min.
I only went 1-2 as I Pulled Video Card all together . . but Bios' Password is Locked . If I get to Desk Top New Windows 11 has Me stuck in Loop Mode over PIN = BS . . it's seems to be Catch 22 . .

Maybe there is Real Reason on Newer MB do to - M.2 Drive on MB ? ( I'm Stuck )
this has been 10 days now .. @ Local Library . .

Where (who) did you purchase it from?

Did you previously set a BIOS password?

I went 3rd Party , but Converge One has Been in My Life Before Through Dell 3 yrs back ..
Rabbit Hole for another Time ..
I was Instructed to reload Windows , I had gone through 99% of Bio's setting - felt those were all Good ..
Similar to an Older T5810 - Nothing Elaborate . . Nothing Out of Ordinary . .
Did Fresh Install of New Just Opened Window 11 UBS .. Certs.
All seemed Good - I tested - PW Worked - I Rebooted & BAM - Your PW is No Longer any Good ..
That is what I meant by LOCKED OUT . .
