OK I finished Season 2 last night. Wow. Pretty much all I can say without spoiling it! Just in the first few ultraviolent minutes of the game you know it's not going to be a copy of the first one.

Wow Clem has turned into a badass! There seem to be more choices in this one than in the first game. I ended up with Jane and the family at the end. It was a 20% ending though so I need to play through the possible endings again to see who can live and who has to die.
Getting to finally kill Kenny! I wanted to shoot him half of the time in the last game. Getting to finally do it was rewarding!

I loved both games. I am slightly miffed that Season 2 was at least 3 hours shorter than season 1 though. Hopefully we will get some DLC in the near future.

Massive spoilers for TWD Telltale Season 2 in here.

the opening I actually didn't like, I knew as Clem took off the backpack that her not having the gun was going to be relevant very soon. I actually tried to click on the pack to grab it again but you cant.
The rest of the episode was fine. Going on the badass route you mention, ask Rebecca who the father is in the diner scene. She looks so evil.

Bonnie's complete turnaround on Clem in the final episode took me by surprise, literally every interaction between her and Clem to that point was positive, yet if you choose to cover Luke on the ice she goes hostile. I even ended up saving her ass from drowning by breaking the ice.
If Luke had thrown his gun over he probably would have been fine as well, another thing that I immediately thought to do but the game doesnt allow.

Hah! Were part of the same 20% it seems.
It was legitimately a hard decision for me to kill Kenny, and with it came the realization that Clem has directly killed every significant father figure in her life (ignoring real parents, I convinced her to shoot Lee in S1 and arguably even if you convinced her to leave she indirectly caused it)

I cheated somewhat and looked up the endings after finishing the season. Letting Jane die seems the "better" ending all considered.
Given how completely divergent the end states are in S2, I wouldn't be surprised if S3 picked a canon route or jumped ship to a new protagonist

Also, I bought Dark Souls II recently. I have died so many times, have barely any idea what I'm doing and at points I'm just throwing myself endlessly into the meat grinder to finish boss'.
Couldn't be more fun :D
I thought being a Souls veteran would make the early game pretty easy for me, nooope. Still died, a lot, due to stupid things. Plus small little differences, backstabbing animations no longer give invulnerability :(
Sprinting from bonfire to boss fight without taking damage from the hundred guys you ran past, good feeling. Great when you can do it repeatedly because the end boss is really hard.

I'm ready for some DLC if not Episode 3!

I got The Witcher and The Witcher 2 in some sale a few months ago and other than about 20 minutes just messing around haven't really played them. I think I might see if I like them.

I'm still not totally over my State of Decay addiction. Stupid DLC makes it a never ending, progressively harder game. As you increase levels you have fewer supplies and automobiles in the world and more numerous and more powerful zombies. It's just so much fun.

I played Demon Souls, not as much as I did Dark Souls though. Think I finished the Mine portal (cant remember what it was called) but in terms of overall completion nowhere close.
In truth I haven't finished Dark Souls, I got to the point where I have to fill the Lord Vessel before GWFL killed itself and I cant get my save anymore, though I know the story and a lot of the Lore.

And I think you not sacrificing yourself and subsequently ending the Age of Fire is the good ending...
Have had somewhat heated discussions over that with some friends. You know the game is good when that can happen from a story thats not even explicitly told to you

I also played Demon's Souls. Epic game. Not quite as good as Dark Souls, but still epic. Arguably better in certain stylistic choices though.

I commented here, however, to say that I also believe the ending of Dark Souls where you end the age of fire is the "good ending". Gwyn got all hysterical about the Age of Dark, but it's also mentioned that he feared humans. And Manus was, after all, a human, and his soul was strongly hinted to be the source of Humanity. I always thought the curse was some working of Gwyn's, to get humans to go to Lordran to feed the bonfires, thus converting Humanity, or the shards Manus' soul, into fuel for the Age of Fire. I assumed Age of Dark = Age of Humans, and that mostly it was the Lords who would suffer from it. Dark Souls 2, much as I like it, did throw a wrench in that theory though. Didn't totally break it, but certainly forced me to modify it.

Playing Titanfall a lot lately since COD Ghosts I pretty much mastered (average 25-30 kills per game) and it got boring just hearing people rage. Much more mature audience in Titanfall and its harde and much more fun too. More to do wall hanking, running parkour our butts off LOL! Pretiging a.k.a Regenerations as they are referred to in Titanfall are much harder. You dont just reach level 50 and play a lot you have specific regen challenges which makes things more challengin when you kick butt outside of your element you know your good!

Honestly the game is even much faster than COD so when I do jump on it I dont play worse. I play equal if not much better cause I tend to have better accuracy and reaction times considering combat in Titanfall is nuts. The average Titanfall player is killed in the air cause everyone always parkouring every where and raining down from the rooftops like crazyness LOL! Plus taking down a Titan without your Titan is a royal pain but you get good at dodging or even sneaking around to get to jump on and Rodeo the Titan to shoot its core!

The game is fun but I feel would be much more fun with a team where we can be better coordinated and all that jazz. As good as I am, I am not the whole team and I lose a lot of games because I have no team to win games. Getting randoms to work together is freaggin impossible sometimes too. My favorite weapon if you care to know is the Spitfire LMG. It's my Anti-Titan class cause it gets a mod called the Slammer! It does crazy damage when you Roder a Titan and shoot its core. Anyhow if anyone wants to play you should be able to find me on Origin under "The Kasafist", hope you guys join me in some fun this weekend since I have time for some Titan killing this weekend LOL!

Well recently I've playing 4 games.
1. Modded Skyrim- I don't want to end this game.
2. Civilization 5- Bought the complete Edition recently.
3. Path Of Exile- Thought to give it a try. Its actually really good.
4. Sleeping Dogs- Was installed in my PC for months never had the time to play it.

I am currently playing Star Trek Online which is a F2P MMO game that is actually more focused on single player content, but there are still a lot of MMO aspects to the game. PvP is more or less dead. The largest faction is by far the Federation. The Klingon faction probably has smallest player base with the Romulan faction somewhere in between, but it is much closer to the Klingon faction than the Federation faction.

Looking to buy X-Com: Enemy Within before Christmas. I have not played a turned based squad oriented strategy game in a long time. It's a game where you can actually lose.

Further down the road is Fallout 4 which is rumored to be release in Fall 2015.

I played XCOM Enemy Unknown a while ago, I'm one of those save scummers...
I can let a good squadmate die, but if two or three go down in quick succession I lame out and go back a couple of auto-saves.

I'v been burned by Fallout 4 rumours before, I'm not hyping myself for it until something direct from Bethesda comes down.
Every rumour has it based in Boston, but I would so have it in Hawaii if I were Bethesda. Basically have a radioactive Far Cry 3

Teasers for a new Dota2 update.

Looks like we will get Diretide (Dota's Halloween event) and Patch 6.82 in one move. Nerferino Tinkerino plz.

Well, I still need to pick up a copy of XCOM:EW.

I wonder if another expansion will come out for it like Civ 5.

I just beat Dead Space 3 and found that the game has one of the best boss fight / ending sequences of any game in recent years. I really enjoyed the Dead Space series and am glad that Origin put up the first game as an On the House giveaway several months ago. This is yet another entry along the line of great epic adventure / shooter sagas by EA along with the Mass Effect and Crysis series. Thank you, EA!! You guys ROCK!!!

Oh, well... I just got kicked off of Star Trek Online 'cuz of some emergency patches to fix game exploits... I guess I should have just gone out with friends tonight...

Anywaste, to answer answer your question there are player created mods that can be installed. From what I've read, the Long War is probably amongst the most popular which increases the difficulty and complexity of the game. It even received praise from Jake Solomon, the lead developer of X-Com: Enemy Unknown. However, I have not heard of any official expansion for the game.

I loved COD too. But I don't love it anymore.

Just finished Dark Souls II...
Vaatividya can only explain so much, still confused.

What are those fountains after each Primal Bonfire? I understand they have something to do with the DLC's and require a lot of souls to get through the gates, but still.

One thing I noticed, the Milfanito are probably undead. There was that one much older undead that was singing before the boss' fog gate, wearing the same dress as the others. She vanishes just like the Milfanito you rescue from Drangleic Castle, except she drops the Ring of the Undead, which gives human appearance to the undead. The Milfanito's chilld-like appearance are just illusions, they really are old undead. If Vaatividya's interpretation is correct, they have been there since at least when Vendrick fled the castle, which is implied to have been a long time ago.

Also Gravewarden Agdayne call himself a "Fenito". Is he related to the Milfanito in some way? They have been tasked with bringing peace to those who bear darkness and death (To prevent Nashandra following Vendrick), taught to sing by "The Great Dead One", Agdayne is tasked to guard the Crypt by "the first one to give us Death".
Is The Rotten (who is Gravelord Nito reincarnate) involved here?

Why did they remove the 8v8 skirmish from Titanfall? I loved that, now it is gone I have reverted back to Black Ops 2. I hate the robot aspect of Titanfall............ Bring back pilot Skirmish

Just finished Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition for the first time since a few years ago when I last played the game on my PS2 console. The game needs better HD textures, but it never gets old. One of my all-time favorites.
