A classic ROCK number !

In 1989, artists from Pink Floyd, Queen, Rush, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Yes, Iron Maiden, Free and others joined forces to raise funds for people affected by the Armenian earthquake. Kerrang called it "the greatest array of hard rock talent every assembled". Organised by Jon Dee, the remake featured David Gilmour, Brian May, Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore, Alex Lifeson and Chris Squire on guitars.

On vocals it had Ian Gillan, Bruce Dickinson, Paul Rogers and Bryan Adams. Keith Emerson and Geoff Downes played the keyboards and Roger Taylor played the drums. This is the official promo video for the 2010 Wermut & Dee remix of the track. The song was released worldwide - it successfully raised funds to rebuild a children's music school in Gyumri in the Armenian earthquake zone. Today the new school teaches music to 220 children a year!

thing with Anthrax I don't really appreciate is fact the only songs I ever see of theirs are the classics.

Its what you get when you have 3 lead singers over your time, Joey just seems to want to play songs from Spreading the disease and Among the living, almost like rest of the albums don't exist. Sure, some of these songs are classics but I don't want to keep hearing same old songs forever. I liked some of the John Bush songs

too many live albums, all the same songs. I have them all so its not like I haven't lived through it.

ELO aren't metal, its why I listened to that version twice and only on 2nd play through noticed the video was fan made, but the song was a good cover. Parents had the album the whale was on, double album, folded out to show entire space ship. Inside was the interior of the space ship. Album art at its finest, now no one cares what album looks like, its all about singles.

That cover song for ELO was pretty good though. I like that band, PAIN.

Isn't Charlie Benante on drums though ? Good Thrashy number though...

I just can't stop listening to YNGWIE Malmsteen!! My most favorite Artist of all time though !! Some"instrumental" numbers. My favorite tracks.

"Far Beyond the Sun". It's a great song but is very VERY difficult to play. General Guitar Tab Tuning: E A D G B E (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb to be more precise).

Trilogy Suite Op 5.

Here, the scale used is C harmonic minor. In the first passage he also adds the natural minor 7th on the 15th fret of the g string. The second passage uses a pattern frequently used by Yngwie Malmsteen, as far as I recall.

The third passage is the same as the second but adds a right hand tap at the 20th fret as well as legato notes. Excellen
t !!

That NIRVANA cover from the Method of Destruction band is done in a total crossover thrash style. The original song from Kurt was a bit slow.

looks at music folder... looks at the Pink Floyd section, 41 albums... okay, I used to say that was a fav song but I have heard it too many times now. Don't ever play songs to death. I like Fade to Black but I can't listen to it anymore.

All 41 albums on my phone, playing random through all my albums on there and its rare I hear something that isn't PF. I need to fix that.

My favorite Pink Floyd album is Meddle. I think that album was their very finest although I also love Darkside of the moon and wish you were here just almost as much

But lately I’m really into this stuff as I get older I have mellowed
