@Metal Messiah. I have heard that song before, yes... Hotel California was played to death of radios for about 20 years. That and dad liked Eagles and I probably have an Eagles greatest hits CD in my room still

First drink I remember ordering was a Tequila Sunrise, could say they influenced me in my youth :)

didn't link this yesterday as I think I did enough.

Lately it's been stuff on Vinyl including on my own Turntable that has a AudioTechnica A-100E MM with a small preamp that is hooked up to my X-Fi Fatality and Altec lancing 5.1's. Mostly thrift store finds for $2 each. I also buy CD's and a few times, tape. Then there is YouTube of course.
-About 1/3rd of my 3TB hdd is music, some of it is "wastefully" on wave file including my CD's ripped to the HDD. HDD's are cheap now so why compress it down to MP3, ect. MP3 is for your car and phone.

The 1st. "Metal" song..... Champion Jack Dupree - Shim Sham Simmy 78rpm. 1954.

That's a pretty huge list. Great collection.

REPEAT.......

Yngwie Malmsteen - Magnum Opus ( Full Album). My most fav album from YNGWIE.

Fast picking techniques and sweep picking arpeggios can heard on this album as well. He focused himself on picking every single note, without adding pull-offs and hammer-ons.

One song which is "Overture 1622," is an instrumental based on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Symphony No. 25 in G MINOR, K. 183", and the instrumental "Amberdawn," differs quite a lot from other Yngwie's instrumentals, in a harmony, as well as in melody and solo parts.

Yngwie also looks sweet, focused, and so young in this album cover as well:

BTW, the vocalist is Michael Vescera (ex-LOUDNESS, and Obsession band)
