Whcih GPU should I Buy

Hello internet.

I don't know whether to get a 2gb or 3gb GPU. Can someone please advise on what makes them different and which I should get for a single monitor gaming set up.

The Cards I'm looking at:

Youre better off with a 3GB version of R9 280x.
This card is a beast at 1080p resolution.
Also , you will be able to play most of the game at ultra settings.

The VRAM on your GPU is used for loading more and higher resolution textures or 3D meshes onto your GPU, as well as render images at higher resolutions.

When your GPU does not feature enough VRAM, it will load its resources onto the system RAM instead. However, due to the system RAM's distance to the GPU, it is a lot slower than VRAM.

This is what i read and came across.
Also please dont compare 750Ti with this monster , the R9 280x is absolutely a beast at this point.
If you really want an Nvidia counterpart for this card , check the GTX 770 , almost the same price , performs more or slightly better.

The amount of VRAM doesn't matter as much as the model of GPU.

In this case the R9 280X just happens to be many times stronger than the 750 TI.
