WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR.....I am so tired of trying to figure this out.....please help.......thermal issue?

Okay, so I used to get this particular crash every once in a while when I first built my computer and I have heard that it is often associated with thermal issues. I used to BSOD after several hours of gaming fairly frequently. When I bought my case, one of the fans was faulty and I had to spin it manually to get it started. Initially, I would start the fan manually and then put the side panel back on. However, I grew tired of having to remove and replace the side panel every time I started my computer and eventually just left the side panel off altogether. Well, after I did that, my computer did not crash for several months. Recently, I bought a new set of Corsair AF120 case fans and put my side panel back on permanently. For a couple of weeks everything worked perfectly fine, but just a few minutes ago, after several hours of Fallout New Vegas, my computer blue screens and I get the dreaded WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR. Could this be a result of inadequate ventilation? I have one intake fan on the front of the case and one exhaust on the rear. My CPU fan is facing upward and is exhausting out of the top of the case. From my understanding, this is a fairly common configuration so I have a hard time believing that this could be the issues......I have ran SlimDrivers and Malwarebytes and according to these programs my drivers are up-to-date and no malware was detected....Any suggestions would be EXTREMELY appreciated....

Check in Control Panel, Hardware and Sound , Device Manager whether any devices aren't working properly - click on them and they should say "This device is working properly"
The make sure that the Driver is up to date.

Run memtest to check your ram (run for 4hrs)

Do a Checkdisk with Repair on your OS drive (Windows Explorer, R Click on drive Properties, Tools, Check now, Repair)

I ran the System File Checker and no integrity violations were found. Should this lead me to believe that it is a PSU issue? Do you think it was a complete coincidence that my computer crashed again after putting the side panel back on?

It all depends. The problem in the general household is not many people keep backup hardware. I can only suggest you borrow a PSU from a friend or family member and see if the problem persists.

All of my drivers are "working properly" except these below. These all display a message of "No drivers are installed for this device"

ATI I/O Communications Processor SMBus Controller
Direct memory access Controller
High precision event timer
Numeric data processor
Programmable interrupt controller
System speaker
System timer

The System File Checker found no integrity issues.

I have not tested my RAM in a while but will do so shortly

A driver is needed for every hardware part, some Microsoft just doesn't have. This one is the one, along with a few LAN/Wifi cards that typically aren't covered by Windows Update

So do you think that my BSOD's were a direct result of these missing drivers rather than inadequate ventilation?

I downloaded and updated the SMBus driver but it still says "No drivers are installed for this device" I am at a loss.....any ideas?

When I run the exe. it takes me into catalyst......should that be happening? I am using the file from the link that William posted by the way. Not the original Asus disk. Should I try again using the original instal disk?
