Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop

Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows

Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)

Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

i don't see many EVGA motherboards

CPU - I9 9900K
RAM - 32gb Corsair ram (speccy is odd, says unknow ram and down further says its Corsair)
MB - EVGA 134-KS-E377 - I found manual before mb website - https://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/134-KS-E377.pdf
GPU - RTX 3080
Storage - too much :)
4tb Wd
1tb Samsung
250gb Micron
2 x 1tb Seagate hdd
120gb Kingston
2tb Seagate
4tb Seagate
as I said, too much.
WIFI USB 3 adapter (depending on age, these can cause bsod)
PSU? speccy can't tell me that.

WHEA errors can be any hardware, have you checked the health of all your drives? thats where I would start considering how many you have.
Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/magician/
Seagate - https://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-win-master/
WD (this has changed) - https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?p=279
Kingston - https://www.kingston.com/en/support/technical/ssdmanager
not sure about Micron?

Yeah it is a lot 😬😬 got a 7tb retro set up on launchbox. I’ll update those drivers and psu is Corsair 850 rmx.
New to this really is there anything that pops out to you? Also should I get rid of any of the storage?

i have sent a link to this thread to a friend who will convert the dumps. I don't expect to see much in results apart from drivers as WHEA errors often show the same text in them.

Do you need all the drives attached? I am just wondering if you could run bare minimum and see if you still BSOD, as it would help isolate cause. If you still crash with only 1 or 2 drives attached, it removes all the other drives from blame.

so it was the wd 4tb that was showing as failed. i tested again and it passed , checked WD dashboard and that said fine but on crystaldisk the wd 4tb was showing as CAUTION

There is nothing wrong with having lots of drives attached, I normally don't see that many and reacted to them. So if the bsod end up being caused by a drive, no reason you can't keep using the others.

maybe we started in right place, it would be unusual if I did.

So I’ve just took the harddrive out and the SATA cable attached was in a bad way. I’d disconnected the drive altogether, could that cable have something to do with it?

Yeah i installed windows on 2 different drives as it was failing on one. Left it running overnight and had a WHEA error at 12am. Tried one stick of ram at a time and still errors. I’m assuming it’s either my MB or cpu now
