I have a supermicro X7DVL-E and I've been trying to install an OS to it, but Intel boot manager always gives the same 2 error codes: pxe-e61 and then pxe-m0f. It repeats it 2 or 3 times before saying "Operating System not found". I can't seem to boot off of a DVD, USB, or hard drive. All the other hardware in the system is working fine. Does anyone know how to install an OS on an old board like this?

PXE errors are the motherboard saying that it doesn't have anything local to boot from and is trying to boot over the network. Those "errors" are normal and a symptom of your not being able to boot from local media.

Which socket(s) do you have CPU(s) in? Do you have two 8 pin CPU power plugs ?

Both sockets have CPUs in, there's only one 8 pin eps plug on the board and it is plugged in.

I can access BIOS and I tried changing the boot order.
