Hello to all,
speedtest to laptop 20mbs
speedtest to android 20mbs
when connecting to wifi the new desktop, speedtest drops to all devices to 5mbs.
Desktop alone to network 7mbs
Desktops wireless card DMG-31 Wi-Fi 4 PCIe Adapter - 300 Mbps.
Modem router TP-Link TD-W8961N.
I downgrade routers firmware as with its factory newest version, was not possible the desktop be in wifi at the same time with laptop+android. And if by luck that happend, speedtest results for all was 0,5mbs.
Any ideas how the issue can fixed and all 3 devices have 20mbs speedtest results?
Thank you

More information needed:

On the laptop and on the desktop run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

You can copy and paste the results directly into your next post. No need to retype it all.

Be sure to indicate which is the desktop and which is the laptop.

Try to discover and include similar information from the Android device.

Objective being to identify/discover some conflict or misconfiguration causing the problem.

When testing speed (bandwidth) apparently your provider is giving you 20Mbs because that’s the most your speed test shows. If you test 2 devices at the same time your speed will drop by half. Test 3 at the same time your speed will drop to 6. Roughly 20/3.
In order for you to get 20Mbs on each device at the same time, your provider would have to give you at least 60Mbs service.
hello, the speed tests not made at the same time.Provider is giving max 20mbs.

Noted your PM's with the ipconfig results.

Please post the ipconfig results here so anyone else following this thread will see the same information and be kept up-to-date accordingly.

Someone may spot other issues or concerns.

As a general note, try disabling IPv6 on network adapters. IPv6 can be problematic.

Also I noted that in the desktop's ipconfig results that the lease time dates on the router appeared in a strange script or some other language.

Where did you get the router's firmware? Double check the source.

Just because TP-Link appeared in the URL path name that does not mean that the site is actually TP-Link.

Or, even if TP-Link, the download may have been buggy or corrupted in some manner.
