When Crossfire is activated I lose a monitor, when Crossfire is disabled i have two monitors, HELP!

This issue just started as far as I am aware. I have two Crossfired XFX R280s, each has one HDMI cable running from it to a monitor. When i activate Crossfire in CCC, for some reason my secondary monitor stops receiving a signal. However when i disable Crossfire the secondary monitor comes back up. I don't understand the problem but if someone has some knowledge about what might be going on, PLEASE HELP! This is driving me up a wall!

I think you need to connect all displays to the master card when using CF... not sure; I don't deal with it much.

You are correct. I recently learned that all monitors must run from the card in the primary slot. Frustrating but at least I have my answer.
