Question when i have hdmi and display port in at the same time the display port doesnt work

I got a new monitor recently it works fine, but when i plug in my second monitor via hdmi the monitor using display port doesnt turn on. When I unplug the hdmi it works perfectly fine.(my second monitor doesnt have any other form of display connecter other than vga and my graphics card doesnt support vga)

gtx 1050
8gb ddr4 ram 266mhz (i dont know what kind)
FX10CP
300w psu ( i also dont know what kind)
Samsung 860 evo 500gb
WD blue 1tb
