Fone key or number one key automatically brings me to Chrome help or my quicken help when i am in it.

F1 is the default Help key, are you sure you are hittig 1 or F1? If you are hitting 1, reset your keyboard settings to defaults. If they are, try a different keyboard, your keys may be stuck.

Hi this is a laptop I am on and yes I am sure I am hitting the F1.....it goes right to help.....the number one is now not doing it.... so maybe it was stuck......but the F1 is still going straight to help....

F1 should go to help, as I said F1 is the default Help key in most applications. So you don't actually have any issues.

F1 is not "fone", you are missing a space there at least, I did not even read that as anything in your original post due to that hehe.

Oh, LOL, you can't hit F1 to TYPE F1, you need to type it using the F key and then the 1 key

The F keys are special keys that perform functions based on the application you are in. F1 is almost always Help, F5 is almost always refresh, and so on.
