when I run any of my games they crash. A blank screen will happen or just freeze on the current frame in game. It says that it could be a thermal issue but it has not had this problem before.
I have tried updating drivers. downclocking and giving it a blast with compressed air.

do you monitor cpu/gpu temps while gaming? are the fans actually spinning?



also run DDU, clean out all gpu drivers

then reinstall the newest from the nvidia website
 


I was not but I have been looking at them now. Yes, the fans work. By idle temp on my GPU is 25 deg and goes up to 50-65 during arma 3. However, my CPU temp shoots up to 66 during arma 3 and is about 50 whilst idle.

I also run DDU and reinstalled the latest driver.

I have installed furmark and it had a max temp of 90 degrees with no errors after an hour and a half. I then the the windows test for RAM and the PRIME95 test for the CPU with no errors in all test.

word, mathcad and chrome also make the video driver fail, but matlab does not.
I thought I had fixed it last night, I had updated all my motherboard drivers but it played up again after an hour in arma 3 which is a lot longer than it usually lasts.
